Do you need a quick meal that will fill your teenage boys up? If so, I have am your girl! My boys love this easy to make beef stroganoff sandwich. The best news is that you probably have all of the ingredients in your pantry and refrigerator!

Beef Stroganoff Sandwiches
2 pounds ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 loaf of sourdough bread
Butter (softened)
2 cups sour cream
2 tomatoes, diced
1 green bell pepper, diced
Shredded cheddar cheese
In a skillet, brown ground beef and onion. (Sometimes I forget to brown the onion with the meat! When I do, I omit the onion.) Drain the meat and return to the skillet. Stir in salt, garlic powder, and pepper. Add sour cream to meat mixture and set aside. Place the bread on a cookie sheet and butter it. Place bread under the broiler and lightly toast. Take the bread out of the oven and spoon the meat mixture on top. Reduce heat to 350 and bake the open face sandwich until heated through. Top with tomatoes, bell pepper, and cheese. Serve with green beans and enjoy!
